Question: What does it cost?
Answer: A full day out of Oregon Inlet is only $1,900. There may be a fuel surcharge based on the potential increase in oil. For rates for fishing out of Isla Mujeres or overnight trips, please contact us.
Question: How many people can fish at one time?
Answer: We specialize in taking a group of 6 or less to the offshore waters of the gulf-stream.
Question: How long is the trip?
Answer: We depart from the dock approximately 5:00-5:30 AM and return about 5:00 PM in the evening. Total time fishing is about eight hours.
Question: What will I catch?
Answer: Depending on the time of year you go fishing, you can expect to hook up with big blue marlin, giant bluefin tuna, large yellowfin tuna, dolphin (mahi-mahi), wahoo, king mackerel, white marlin, sailfish and more. We focus on gamefishing and billfishing during the months of July, August and September. We frequently catch dolphin and other species while we’re out.
Question: Are children allowed to fish?
Answer: Of course. We cater to families with children and encourage everyone to fish with us.
Question: What do I need to bring?
Answer: We provide tournament quality tackle. Whether you are fighting a citation dolphin or a 1,077 lb. blue marlin, our equipment is maintained to stand up to the test. If you prefer fly fishing, you are welcome to bring your gear.
Question: Where are you located?
Answer: The Sea Wolf is located at OBX Marina, located in Wanchese just 6 miles from the Oregon Inlet on North Carolina’s Outer Banks from March through December. Get more information or directions to the Marina. We’re in Isla Mujeres, Cancun, Mexico from January through March.
